Pakistan Navy Seizes Drugs Worth Rs. 4 Billion in Sea Raid
Pakistan Navy is actively participating in Arabian Sea as they successfully thwart an attempt to smuggle drugs worth about Rs 4 billion.
According to sources, Pakistan Navy has arrested smugglers during an operation in open water and collected about 280 kg of crystal meth worth about Rs 4 billion from the market.
Seized boat and smugglers have been handed over to law enforcement agencies for further legal action.
Estimated value of this drug in the international market is about 15 million US dollars (4 billion 13 crore 55 lakh).
Successful anti-narcotics operation by Pakistan Navy is a manifestation of determination of Pakistan Navy to prevent illegal activities in maritime borders of country.
