Pakistan's decision to send another Aid Shipment to Turkiye and Syria Earthquake Victims
Pakistan has decided to send another relief shipment through Pakistan Navy to earthquake-affected brothers and sisters of Turkiye and Syria.
Pakistan Navy ship will arrive in Turkiye and Syria on March 23 and 30 respectively, carrying 550 tons of relief goods. Another ship of Pakistan Navy is being prepared for second batch of relief goods in collaboration with NDMA.
Aid supplies for Türkiye include 3,500 cold and fire protection tents, 38,000 blankets and 113 tons of other necessities, while supplies for Syria include more than 21,000 blankets and more than 113 tons of other stores. All arrangements will be completed by March 9-10 so that relief materials can be dispatched by sea on March 11.
It should be noted that NDMA and Pakistan forces are continuing their efforts to help earthquake victims of Türkiye and Syria.
