Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir witnessed the integrated fire and combat exercises of the Army Air Defense System, including the High to Medium Air Defense Weapon System, Low to Medium Air Defense System, Short Range Air Defense System and Extended Short Range Air Defense System. .
These successful exercises are a historic achievement and milestone for strengthening air defense in the countrys air borders, during which the High to Medium Air Defense Weapon System was successfully tested for the first time.
This weapon system successfully hit its targets along with other weapon systems, which were tested with the systems during the exercise.
Pakistan Army Chief of Staff General Asim Munir appreciated the operational preparations of Army Air Defense, he also praised the successful conduct of the exercises and the objectives.

Earlier, the Army Chief visited the Army Air Defense Center, placed flowers on the martyrs memorial and paid tribute to the martyrs of the armed forces.
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir also conferred the badges of Colonel Commandant of Army Air Defense Corps on Lieutenant General Muhammad Zafar Iqbal.
