More than 10 thousand grams of hashish was recovered in Peshawar
Excise Police in Peshawar and Mardan Regions conducted a major operation, thwarting Punjab smuggling and recovered more than 10,000 grams of hashish.
The Excise Police in Mardan district foiled an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of drugs to Punjab.
In this regard, the spokesperson of Excise says that during the search, 6 thousand grams of hashish was recovered from an unmarked rickshaw on Ring Road Mardan.
Sources say that the accused driver Muhammad Saeed, son of Syed Faqir Jan, a resident of Wah Cantt, was arrested on the spot.
Another operation was conducted by the Excise Police Station Peshawar near Hayatabad Toll Plaza in which 4800 grams of hashish were recovered from the vehicle.
According to Excise spokesman, during the operation, the accused Mohsin Shah son of Zahir Shah, who was riding a motorcycle, was arrested on the spot.
Sources say that after more than 10,000 grams of hashish were recovered, while cases have been registered against the accused and investigation has been started against them.
