Armed forces fully prepared to thwart any aggression: COAS
While lauding the operational excellence of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir on Tuesday stated that the armed forces of Pakistan are fully prepared to thwart any aggression.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), army chief expressed these remarks during an induction and operationalization ceremony at an operational base of PAF. He attended distinguished ceremony as chief guest
Upon his arrival at the base, General Munir was received by Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu. The ceremony showcased newly-inducted weapon systems and defence assets of PAF.
COAS, in his speech, lauded operational preparedness of PAF in incorporating state-of-the-art weapon systems, substantially contributing in ensuring the balance of power in the region.
While emphasising the significance of indigenisation and human resource development, army chief wholeheartedly endorsed PAFs dedication to technological advancements and operational excellence, reassuring that armed forces of Pakistan are fully prepared to thwart any aggression.
COAS also appreciated PAFs efforts for the transportation of relief goods for the victims of the Gaza conflict.
Upon his arrival, a smartly turned-out contingent of PAF presented a guard of honour to the COAS.
During his speech CAS highlighted the latest inductions in PAFs arsenal comprising of J-10C fighter jets, air mobility platforms, modern Radars, Unmanned Aerial Systems, Loitering munition capabilities and Long Range Vectors which have significantly bolstered the aerial defence capabilities of the country.
CAS also mentioned that the Centre of Excellence for Air Mobility and Aviation Safety, College of Air Defence and reinvigoration of the Air Power Centre of Excellence alongside the operationalisation of the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park had provided PAF with the capability to stay abreast with the evolving challenges.
He emphasized progress achieved by PAF in emerging domains of cyber and space technologies to ensure an impregnable defense of the country.
A spectacular airshow was conducted after ceremony, featuring various PAF fighter jets, training aircraft and UAVs.
