Sabotage of election process will not be allowed, Pak Army said
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), the 262nd Corps Commanders Conference was held under the chairmanship of Army Chief General Asim Munir, in which the deployment of the army to assist the Election Commission in the elections was discussed.
The participants of the Corps Commanders Conference said that no one will be allowed to use violence in the name of political activity, the army will perform its duties as per the constitutional mandate and the instructions of the Election Commission.
The conference participants were briefed on Indias state-sponsored terrorism and Indias heinous campaign to target Pakistani citizens.
The forum agreed that Indias flagrant violation of international laws and Indias true face should be exposed before the world.
On this occasion, Ami Chief General Asim Munir said that Pakistans sovereignty and territorial integrity are sacred and inviolable, national sovereignty, national honor and peoples aspirations will not be compromised.
The forum reiterated its support to the people of Palestine and also reviewed the negative effects of the Gaza conflict and the possibility of escalation in the region.
The participants unanimously recognized the need for an immediate ceasefire in Palestine and the urgent need for a peaceful solution to the Palestinian conflict.
The conference appreciated measures against smuggling, hoarding, money laundering, measures against power theft, illegal immigrants, illegal activities and criminal mafias while the forum continued to have positive effects on the economy and peoples welfare unhindered.
The corps commanders were also briefed on the operational preparations of the formations and the army chief stressed on the formations commanders to maintain the standard of professionalism, excellence during training and the morale and welfare of the men.
