Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 15, 696 polling stations established, security arrangements completed
15 thousand 696 polling stations have been set up for the general elections across the country while security arrangements have been completed.
While holding a press conference in the provincial capital Peshawar, Provincial Election Commissioner Shamshad Khan said that the election campaign will end tonight, while all the preparations for the February 8 elections have been completed.
He said that 15,696 polling stations have been built in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, for which the process of deployment and training of 164,000 polling staff has been completed.
According to the Provincial Election Commissioner, 4 crore 54 lakh 40 thousand ballot papers have been printed for the election.
The reports say that form 45 will be signed by Presiding Officers after the polling is completed.
He said that security arrangements have been completed for 15,696 polling stations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Police, FC and Pakistan Army will be deployed for the security of these polling stations.
