Head of the Commonwealth Observer Mission, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan expressed satisfaction over polling in Pakistan
Caretaker Federal Minister of Interior Gohar Ejaz says that the polling process is going on in a peaceful manner in the country, I pray that Pakistan will start its journey of development after the election.
He was holding a press conference with the head of the Commonwealth Observer Mission in Islamabad.
Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, along with the Caretaker Interior Minister Gohar Ijaz said that polling is going on peacefully in Islamabad.
Ejaz Gohar said that there is nothing alarming about the election, peaceful polling is taking place in the country, every party has campuses.
He further said that more than 600,000 security personnel are deployed across the country, all our forces in Balochistan are doing their duty responsibly, our police, armed forces and levies are doing their duty in the election.
The Caretaker Federal Interior Minister said that he prays that whoever forms the government will take the country forward and Pakistan will be on the path of development.
On this occasion, the head of Commonwealth Observation, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, said that the Election Commission and the caretaker government have prepared the best plan for the elections.
He said that the observers of the Commonwealth have inspected the various polling stations.
He said that we have
observed the election process and the elections are being held in a peaceful manner in Pakistan.
