Miranshah: Exchange of firing between police and protesters, 3 officials martyred
As a result of firing in North Waziristan, 2 police personnel were martyred by unprovoked firing by supporters of Mohsin Dawar.
According to police sources, several people including the former Member National Assembly and Chairman National Democratic Movement (NDM) Mohsin Dawar have also been injured in the firing.
The incident took place during the protest in Miranshah, the protesters were protesting the delay in the election results, the police also fired tear gas to disperse the protesters.
The police said that the protestors fired unprovoked at the gate of Army Camp Miran Shah, on which retaliatory action was taken.
Sources say that Mohsin Dawars condition is out of danger, while Mohsin Dawar and other people have been shifted to Miranshah Hospital.
