Police against non-customs paid items initiated in Dera Ismail Khan
The police department has start actions against non-customs paid items in of Dera Ismail Khan, in which police station Daraban took action and seized NCP goods worth Rs 2 crore.
According to the details, under the supervision of District Police Officer Dera Abdul Rauf Babar Qaisrani, while carrying out operations against non-customs paid goods and diesel smuggling.
Report says that Police station Daraban has initiated such operation under the leadership of SDPO Daraban Circle Malik Anees Al Hasan along with SHO Abdul Ghaffar Khan.
According to the media reports, attempted smuggling of customs-paid items was thwarted and during checking, 255 tires of different sizes, 630 rolls of foreign cloth, 436 gutto chalia (small/large) NCP were seized from various vehicles, which were subsequently recovered by the customs authorities after necessary action.
However, the value of the above-mentioned non-customs paid goods seized is estimated to be around 2 crore rupees.
