Police station Excise Peshawar region action, 10800 grams hashish recovered, accused arrested
Police Station Excise Peshawar Region arrested the accused after recovering 10800 grams of hashish while conducting operations at H Gol Chowk. According to the spokesperson of the Excise Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Excise Police Station Peshawar region foiled the attempt of drug smuggling in huge quantities.
The operation was carried out in the Motorway Toll Plaza towards H Gol Chowk, where during the search, 10800 grams of hashish was recovered from a vehicle.
During the operation, Hafiz Babar Bashir son of Bashir Ahmed resident of Sheikhupura was arrested on the spot while a case was registered in Excise Police Station Peshawar Region for further investigation. Secretary Excise Syed Fayyaz Ali has said that the cordon has been tightened around the drug smugglers and has directed the Excise Department to speed up operations.
