Evacuation of un registered Afghan citizens from Pakistan continues
The evacuation of Afghan citizens from Pakistan is still going on, more than 2 lakh Afghan citizens have returned to their country from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
A total of 284 thousand 194 people have been deported from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Afghanistan so far from Kham border as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Interior Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that the process of sending immigrants to Afghanistan from Peshawar, other borders, Anguar Ada and Kharlachi is also functional.
Report says that in the Peshawar, in total, 4 thousand 627 people were sent to Afghanistan through the Anguar Ada border, while 698 people were sent to Afghanistan from the Kharlachi border.
On the other hand, 2 lakh 89 thousand 520 people have been sent to Afghanistan from the three borders of Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa so far.
It should be noted that the Pakistani government had given a deadline of October 31, 2023 to the foreigners living in Pakistan illegally to leave Pakistan.
Even before the federal governments announcement, a large number of illegal Afghans continued to return to Afghanistan from Pakistan for fear of arrest.
However, according to official data, a total of 452,273 Afghans have returned to their country by December 28, 2023.
