Government Initiated to promote cultural activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The decision to initiate vigorous measures to provide entertainment to the people and promote cultural activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and especially in Peshawar under the patronage of the provincial government.
A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Peshawar Division Muhammad Zubair regarding the measures for the promotion of cultural activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the welfare of artists under the patronage of the government.
The meeting was attainted by the Commander 102 Brigade, Tourism Officer Hasina, Manager Culture Tourism Humayun Khan, while the delegation of Abasin Art Counci, a representative organization working for the promotion of cultural activities, headed by President Abdul Rauf Rohila and Senior Vice President Writer and intellectual Nasir Ali Syed.
In the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on the measures required for the promotion of cultural activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and especially in the provincial capital Peshawar.
It was decided in the meeting that to provide entertainment to the people and to promote cultural activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and especially in Peshawar, it was decided to initiate vigorous measures under the auspices of the government.
In this regard, the representative organization was assured of full patronage by the government. In this regard, it was also decided to organize literature, art, music and drama classes immediately after Eid-ul-Fitr to promote skills, for which a regular mechanism was established. Addressing the meeting, Commissioner Peshawar Division Muhammad Zubair reiterated his determination to use all resources and full government patronage to provide entertainment to the people and promote cultural activities in the terror-affected provincial capital of Peshawar and personally made efforts.
