As a result of accidents due to ongoing rains and landslides in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, 17 people have died and 23 people have been injured so far, PDMA has issued a report.
According to the report released by PDMA, 13 houses were partially damaged and 21 houses were completely damaged. Relief operations are ongoing in the affected districts.
According to the report, measures are being taken to open the roads blocked by snowfall and landslides. Tourists trapped by heavy snowfall in Malam Jabba were rescued.
According to DGP PDMA, on special instructions of Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, PDMA, district administration and all related institutions are on alert and are in close contact with all districts.
