16 feeders of Peshawar declared load shedding free
Peshawar Electric Supply Company has achieved a significant achievement in achieving the goal of load-shedding free Peshawar.
Electricity theft and arrears have been eliminated from 16 feeders of Peshawar and they have been declared as load-shedding free zones.
Last day, Additional Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Abid Majeed and CEO Pesco Akhtar Hameed Khan, during the eighth important meeting of the task force, it was told that 16 feeders of Peshawar Sadar Road, Chowk Yadgar, Hayatabad 12, Hayatabad 2, Khyber 2, Audit Colony, Shoba, Load shedding has been completely stopped from Nishtarabad, Debgari, Qasa Khawani, Hussainabad, Sunhari Masjid, Nothia, Karkhano, Shami Road, and Sikandarpura.
To take action against electricity thieves, 99 high-loss feeders of Peshawar were selected from whom electricity theft was to be ended and Peshawar was to be declared a load-shedding free city.
PESCO officials said that it is only as a result of the joint actions that the losses have reduced significantly and the end of load shedding has been ensured from the above 16 feeders.
