South Waziristan: Awareness campaign organized by Youth of Wana under "Alam Tolo De Para"
An awareness campaign "Alam Tolo Deh Para" was organized in South Waziristan from 9 to 11 March. Local organizations including Wana Welfare Association, Musa Nikka Welfare Association and former FATA Youth Jirga Wana participated in the campaign. Core Commander Peshawars educational vision was delivered through a door-to-door awareness campaign in Duag, Ashraf Khel and Mughal Khel villages of Wana. Around 200 parents were encouraged to enroll their children in schools through a door to door awareness campaign.
In addition, lectures related to the importance and benefits of education were given at Government Girls Model School Dawag, Government High School Wana, Government Girls Primary School Talabani, Government Girls Primary S Abdul Khaliq, Government Girls Model School Peer Sal Mughal Khel and Madrassas.
