Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Nomination papers of 42 candidates for 11 seats of Senate have been submitted
Nomination papers of 42 candidates have been submitted for 11 Senate seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Peshawar Election Commission, 8 candidates have withdrawn their nomination papers so far.
According to the Election Commission, there are 9 aspirants for 2 technocrat seats, 6 candidates for 2 women seats while 19 candidates are still in the fray for 7 general seats.
According to the Election Commission, there are 9 candidates including Noorul Haq Qadri and Azam Swati for Technocrat. Mehwish Ali, Ayesha Bano, Rubina Naz, Begum Tahira Bukhari, Rubina Khalid and Shazia are candidates for the women seat.
Murad Saeed, Azam Swati, Mirza Mohammad Afridi, Faisal Javed, Mohammad Talha Mehmood and Azhar Qazi Mashwani are candidates for the general seat.
According to the Election Commission, Irfan Salim, Niaz Ahmed, Waqas Orkazai, Fazl Hanan, Faiz-ul-Rahman, Ata-ul-Haq and Fida Muhammad are among the candidates.
According to the Election Commission, Shafqat Ayaz, Asif Rafiq, Taj Mohammad Afridi, Noorul Haq Qadri and Khurram Zeeshan are also candidates.
According to the Election Commission, the candidates will be able to withdraw the papers till March 29, while the final list will be released on March 30 and marks will be allotted to the candidates.
