Prepared for the second phase of return of Afghan refugees from Pakistan
The preparations have been made for the second phase of the return of Afghan refugees from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The district administration and police have been instructed to trace the whereabouts of Afghan refugees.
According to the provincial authorities, the number of Afghan citizen card holders, businesses and other data are being collected.
The repatriation of Afghan refugees is part of the National Action Plan.
In the first phase, more than 2 lakh Afghan refugees have been sent through the Torkham border.
In the second phase, the survey is going on to repatriate Afghan refugees. The survey will be completed by April 30.
No date has been fixed for the return of Afghan refugees, the decision is expected soon.
However, the process is likely to begin in early summer
