Decision to run Takht Bhai Train Safari on Eid-ul-Fitr
On the happy occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, under the auspices of the Culture and Tourism Authority, a train safari is being run for the second time from Peshawar to the historical and archaeological site of Takhtbhai on Saturday, April 13, in which females will be taken from Peshawar Sadar Railway Station and on the way.
In this initiative various historical places will be visited including City Railway Station, Nasirpur, Pabi, Nowshera, Risalpur and Mardan.
On arrival at the railway station before departure, participants will be greeted with traditional band tunes while during the journey, archaeologists and guides will provide valuable information about the history and architecture of Takhtbhai.
The purpose of the tour is to promote religious tourism in the province as well as to educate the participants about the religious, cultural and archaeological sites, heritage and history so that they understand the importance of the region and its past glory.
