Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: A policeman was martyred in a remote control bomb blast in Bajaur
One official was martyred and another injured in a bomb blast in Bajaur district of Malakand division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Dawn News, ASI Bakhtzada was martyred while police officer Ehsanullah was injured in a remote control bomb blast in Mamond area of Bajaur district.
The team of Rescue 1122 took timely action after receiving the information and reached the spot and provided first aid to the injured and shifted him to the hospital.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur condemned the blast and expressed regret over the martyrdom of a policeman in the incident.
He expressed his condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the family members of the martyred official and prayed for patience for the martyrs and the bereaved.
The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also expressed his best wishes for the speedy recovery of the policeman injured in the incident.
Ali Amin Gandapur asked for a report of the incident from the top officials of the police and directed to take action to arrest the elements involved in the incident.
He announced to give Shahada package to the family of the martyred official and also directed the concerned authorities to take steps to provide assistance to the family of the martyr under the Shahada package.
In his statement, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that such cowardly incidents will not demoralize the police and the provincial government will not leave the martyrs family alone.
He said that all possible support will be provided to the family of the martyr
