Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 130 incidents of terrorism in 3 months
130 incidents of terrorism have been reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province for 3 months.
The law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is deteriorating day by day, the most incidents of terrorism in the province have been reported in Dera Ismail Khan.
Terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Peshawar is starting to rise again. 131 incidents of terrorism have occurred during the last 3 months.
Dera Ismail Khan had the highest number of 25 incidents in the province, Bajaur tribal district and South Waziristan tribal district had 6, 6 terrorist incidents while Laki Marwat had 11, Khyber tribal district had 10, Karak and Mardan had 3, 3 incidents.
According to the report, there were 59 attacks on the police this year, in which 49 police officers were killed and 68 were injured.
In various operations, 5 most wanted terrorists were arrested while 3 were killed.
The government says that all steps are being taken to strengthen the police.
During operations in different districts of the province, 2 suicide jackets and 76 kg of explosives were recovered while 22 cases of terrorism were registered.
