The meeting of the Central Rawit Halak Committee for Shawwal moon sighting in Pakistan will be held today in Islamabad.
The meeting of the central Sighting of the Crescent Committee in Pakistan will be held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, Chairman of the Committee.
Scholars of different schools of thought and experts of Meteorology Department will also participate in the meeting.
There will also be meetings of zonal Sighting Hilal Committees in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta.
It should be noted that the meteorological department had predicted that the Eid-ul-Fitr moon is likely to be seen on April 9 in the country.
The meteorological department said that the birth of the new moon will take place on April 8 at 11:21 pm and the age of the moon will be 19 to 20 hours on that day.
