Fear of dengue outbreak in the province, action plan prepared by the health department in KP
Due to recent rains and floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the risk of dengue outbreak has increased.
To deal with this problem, the health department has prepared an action plan which has been sent to the chief secretary for approval.
Director Public Health says that according to the action plan, a multi-sectoral approach has been adopted to control dengue.
He said that attention will be paid to timely destruction of dengue larvae to cure the disease.
According to Dr. Irshad Rughani, it has been decided to allocate 1,240 beds in government hospitals for dengue patients.
On the other hand, a dengue control room will also be established in the Directorate General of Health Services.
