Passing out parade of cadets at Pakistan Military Academy Kakul
Passing out parade was held at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad and Chief of General Staff of Turkey distributed awards to the cadets.
According to the Department of Public Relations of Pakistan Army (ISPR), a passing out parade of cadets of 149th PMA Long Course, 14th Mujahid Course, 68th Integrated Course and 23rd Lady Cadet Course was organized at Pakistan Military Academy Kakul.
Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, was the chief guest while Chief of Turkish General Staff, General Mateen Gorak was the guest of honor on the occasion. Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and Turkish Chief of General Staff conferred awards on distinguished cadets.
According to the spokesperson of the Pakistan Army, 49 cadets from friendly countries were also included in the passed out cadets, Senior Under Officer of the Academy Muhammad Nauman Abdullah was awarded the Sword of Honor and Senior Under Officer of the 149th PMA Long Course Company Muhammad Abdullah Javed was awarded the Presidential Gold.
The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Overseas Gold Medal was awarded to Saudi Arabias Senior Under Officer Fahad Bin Aqeel Al Tawareqi Al Falaj.
Army Chief Honorary Course Under Officer Ilyas Khan of 14th Mujahid Course and Course Junior Under Officer of 68 Integrated Course Danish Sattar and Course Under Officer of 23 Lady Cadet Course Sher Banu were awarded the Commandants baton.
Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee congratulated the passing out cadets and their parents on successful completion of training at PMA.
On this occasion, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza said that since its inception, PMA has proved to be the best cradle of leadership and center of excellence for cadets joining the army.
During the PMA also trained several foreign cadets, todays parade is a splendid example of its best military discipline.
