Joint Operation of FC & Customs at Torkham Border - Illegal Weapons Recovered
As a result of the joint action of Frontier Corps North and Customs, the attempt to smuggle arms from Afghanistan to Pakistan was foiled.
Illegal weapons were seized from two cargo vehicles during the search at the Torkham border, in which three M16 rifles, two Bretta pistols, 4000 rounds of AK 47, 8 bolts of AK 47 and 40 springs, 5 pistol magazines, 8000 rounds of 9 mm pistol and one pistol without a barrel were recovered.
