86th death anniversary of poet Allama Iqbal observed with devotion and respect
The 86th death anniversary of Pakistans national poet and thinker of Islam Allama Iqbal was celebrated today with devotion and respect.
Allama Iqbal not only presented the concept of Pakistan but also conveyed a universal message to Muslims, youth and society through his poetry.
The Pakistan movement gained strength due to the efforts of Allama Iqbal and under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, an independent Pakistan was obtained on 14 August 1947.
Hakeem-ul-Umat met his real creator on April 21, 1938, he is buried on the side of Badshahi Masjid, Allama Iqbals teachings are still alive in the hearts of Pakistanis.
