Need to strengthen mutual communication on Pak-Iran border, Army Chief
Army Chief General Asim Munir says that there is a need to strengthen mutual communication on Pakistan-Iran border.
According to the Public Relations Department of Pakistan Army (ISPR), Army Chief General Asim Munir met Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi during which mutual interest, peace and stability in the region and regional security were discussed.
In the meeting, emphasis was placed on increasing bilateral cooperation for stability and economic prosperity in the region.
The Army Chief said that Pak-Iran border is the border of peace and friendship, there is a need to strengthen mutual communication on the border.
The chief of Pakistan Army said that terrorists want to damage Pakistan-Iran relations, terrorists will not succeed in their ambitions with better relations between the two countries.
The Army Chief said that cooperation between the armed forces of Pakistan and Iran will stabilize regional peace.
However, the Cooperation between the armed forces will benefit not only the two countries but also the region.
