Mapping of Afghans living in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has entered the final stage. In this regard, according to the document of the Ministry of Interior, the process of mapping of 70 percent of Afghan residents from across the province has been completed.
In this regard, it has been informed that citizen cards were issued to 880,000 Afghan citizens, of which 320,000 Afghan citizens are residing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the sources, more than 314 thousand Afghans have returned to their homeland since November 2023.
It should be remembered that the mapping phase of Afghan citizens with Afghan citizen cards will be completed by April 30.
The Interior Department document states that voluntary repatriation of Afghans from across the country is ongoing.
