PCB Proposes Lahore as Sole Venue for Indias Matches in 2025 Champions Trophy
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has proposed Lahore as the venue for all of Indias matches in the February 2025 Champions Trophy.
The draft schedule has been sent to the International Cricket Council (ICC) for approval and will be presented at the ICC Board meeting in July, held in Sri Lanka. Initially, Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi were suggested as venues.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi stated that the board is committed to hosting a successful tournament, with ongoing discussions with the ICC about security measures and stadium upgrades. Political tensions have prevented bilateral series between Pakistan and India since 2012/13.
