A foreign tourist trapped in the mountains of Chitral was rescued by the police
When the tourists from Switzerland got stuck in the mountains of Chitral, the police rescued them in time.
According to reports, Amandev, a tourist, was on his way to Kailash Wadi Rambur from Orghoch mountain trek in Lower Chitral, about 6550 feet above sea level, when he lost contact.
Chitral: When the police rescued Amandio, the tourist had taken shelter in the cattle shed due to heavy rain and snowfall, the police pulled out the foreign tourist from the hill range and rescued him safely.
Police said that the staff of Lower Chitral police station Rambor, Foreigner Registration Office and District Security Branch managed to reach the foreign tourists around 2 am in the extremely dangerous and difficult mountain range despite heavy rain.
The police have further said that the tourist was very disturbed due to being alone in the rainy and cold weather and his communication was also interrupted due to the breakdown of the mobile network. The foreign tourist has thanked the police for the timely rescue
