Decision to impose road development tax on vehicles registered outside Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
It was decided to levy road development tax on vehicles registered outside Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the details, the Excise and Taxation meeting was chaired by Finance Advisor Muzamil Aslam and Provincial Excise Minister Mian Khaliqur Rahman, Several officers including Secretary Excise participated in the meeting.
It has been decided to impose road development tax on vehicles registered outside Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
During the meeting, Muzamil Aslam said that the road user surcharge will be collected from the owners of vehicles registered outside the province.
The Road User Charge Bill 2024 will be approved by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly soon.
The road user surcharge will be collected from those residents of the province whose has other provincial and federal registered vehicles.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Adviser Muzmal Aslam said that the Excise Department has already issued universal number plate, commercial and residential property tax is also being reformed.
