Corps Commander Peshawar unveiled the book "Frontier Corps History".
The launch of the book "History of Frontier Corps" written by Lt. Col. (Retd.) Rafat Nadeem Ahmed was held at Bala Hisar Fort.
The chief guest of the event was Corps Commander Lt. Gen. Hasan Azhar Hayat, who from 1878 till today. unveiled a book covering the rich history of the Frontier Corps.
A large number of women including former IGFCs, FC senior officers, historians, eminent poets and intellectuals participated in the event.
The Chief Guest and other participants appreciated the excellent compilation of the history of Frontier Corps in the book by author Lt Col (Retd) Rafat Nadeem Ahmed and termed the book as a valuable treasure of information for future generations, as well as Also called historical asset.
Corps Commander Peshawar praised the role of the FC and highlighted the importance of it being a force and being acceptable to the local people. He proposed to preserve FCs history as well as its culture in a vigorous manner.
Speaking at the event, IGFC North Major General Noor Wali Khan called the book a welcome addition to the pages of knowledge and history.
The book "History of Frontier Corps" will not only serve as a hobby for the security forces but also has a rich intellectual discussion for the readers from different sections of the society.
