Peshawar, as heat rises, epidemics break out, hospitals rush
Epidemic diseases like diarrhoea, measles and gastroenteritis broke out in the provincial capital Peshawar as the heat intensified.
Due to the increase in the cases of these epidemics, the rush of patients at the 3 major hospitals of the province started to increase.
According to the sources, 700 patients affected by diarrhea, measles and gastroenteritis have been brought to the 3 major government hospitals of Peshawar city on a daily basis.
In the Peds Ward of THK of the Provincial Teaching Hospital, the rush of children affected by epidemics is increasing.
It should be remembered that 1400 cases of measles have been reported this year in which 14 children have lost their lives.
