Khyber Pakhtunkhwa begins procurement of wheat from Punjab farmers
The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has started purchasing wheat from the farmers of Punjab.
It should be remembered that there were many problems between the Punjab government and the farmers regarding wheat, due to which the farmers were forced to protest.
Sources of the food department say that wheat purchase from the farmers of Punjab has been started from today.
The Welcome banners have also been displayed for the farmers of Punjab on this occasion.
According to the food department, wheat is being purchased at 3900 rupees per maund, while the target of purchasing 286 thousand metric tons of wheat from the farmers of Punjab will be achieved by June 30.
