FC Khyber Pakhtunkhwas successful anti-trafficking operations, seizure of illegal goods worth 80 million rupees
During the last one month, FC Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has carried out successful operations in Chitral, Dir, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai and Swat through important measures to prevent the smuggling of drugs, foreign currency, foreign goods and arms.
Reports says that Illegal goods worth Rs 80 million have been seized, including food items, household electrical appliances, cloth, tyres, auto parts and foreign modern weapons.
Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North recovered 200 grams of illegally smuggled gold and foreign currency worth Rs 20 million from Afghanistan.
In various anti-narcotics operations, 221 kg of different types of drugs were also recovered, while 9 people were arrested after recovering 182 kg of drugs in Bajaur district, while 8 non-custom paid vehicles were also handed over to the concerned agency.
Media reports says that Illegal modern weapons were also recovered in Bajaur and Khyber districts. Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North recovered 14 tons of illegal urea in various operations and handed it over to the Agriculture Department.
In all these operations, 17 criminal professionals have been arrested and legal action has been initiated against them.
