Prime Minister announced a public holiday tomorrow on May 28 on Takbeer Day
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced a public holiday on May 28 on Takbeer Day yesterday.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Ministers Office, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has declared the day of making Pakistans defense impregnable, May 28 as Takbeer Day as an official holiday.
The cabinet division has issued a public holiday notification according to which there will be a public holiday across the country on May 28, all public and private institutions across the country will be closed.
The prime minister said that Takbeer Day reminds the Pakistani nation of unity to make the defense of the country invincible.
According to the Prime Minister, Takbeer Day reminds the political and defense forces to unite under one flag, the green crescent flag, to strengthen the defense of this country.
It is the day to renew the pledge to always thwart the nefarious ambitions of those who want to endanger this country through politics.
The Prime Minister says that May 28 Takbeer Day is a day to pay tribute to the then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the Pakistan Army for making Pakistans defense impregnable.
He said that we also pay tribute to the scientists who have played an important role in keeping it going.
He says that the entire Pakistani nation, including me, pledges on this day that the way we made the defense of this country impregnable on May 28, we will work day and night to ensure the economic security of this country.
He further said that let us take a pledge today that not only the external enemies, but also the mischief of the elements who want chaos due to incidents like May 9 in Pakistan will be defeated with unity, organization and firm belief along with hard work day and night.
