Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Under-23 Inter-Regional Games fair was held in Peshawar
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Under-23 Inter-Regional Games fair was decorated in Peshawar, inaugurated regularly.
The games were inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, in the opening ceremony the players performed march past, traditional dance and demonstrated their various talents.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur also inaugurated the Hayatabad Sports Complex.
More than 1800 male and female players are participating in the games, including 1078 male and 770 female players.
Players will showcase their skills in 20 different sports, male players will participate in squash, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, hockey, taekwondo, cricket, karate, athletics and throw ball.
Women athletes will participate in volleyball, badminton, table tennis, judo, hockey, cricket, athletics, taekwondo and squash.
Womens competitions will be held at Abdul Wali Khan Sports Complex Charsadda, Peshawar Board Ground and Peshawar Sports Complex.
Mens games in the Games will be held at Hayatabad Sports Complex, Peshawar Sports Complex and Kohat Sports Complex and Peshawar University.
The Under-23 Inter-Regional Games will continue till May 30.
