Fire broke out in the forest in control after 24 hours in Karak
The fire that broke out in the Kurd Sharif forest of Karak area was brought under control after 24 hours.
According to District Rescue In-charge Noor Alamin Khattak said that valuable trees and wild animals have been burnt on a large scale due to fire.
He said that due to the lack of a land route to Karak, the relief activities in the forest of Kurd Sharif are facing severe difficulties.
Noor Alamin Khattak has said that teams were dispatched via Mianwali for relief operations, due to which there was a delay.
He further said that the flames of the fire have been brought under control, but smoke is still rising from somewhere.
He said that with the help of local people and Mianwali administration, the fire will be fully controlled.
Noor Alamin Khattak has also said that the intensity of the fire has ended and action is being taken at the place where the smoke is coming from.
