Pakistans satellite Paksat MM1 has reached the earths orbit
Pakistans advanced communication satellite Paksat MM-1 has reached the Earths orbit.
A spokesman for the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SPARCO) says that the multi-mission communication satellite MM-1 reached the Earths orbit on June 5.
MM-1 was launched by Sparco on May 30, the Paksat MM-1 is at an altitude of 38,786 km above the Earth, said a Sparco spokesperson.
Sparco says the satellite is located in Earth orbit at 2.38 East, the 5 ton Pak Sat MM1 is equipped with the latest communication equipment.
The satellite can provide the fastest internet facility in the countrys dimensions.
Spokesman Sparco said that after reaching the orbit, the solar panels of the satellite have started to be used, various tests will be done to check the health of the satellite in the orbit.
