Drug Control Room established in Chief Ministers Secretariat in Peshawar
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur has established a drug control room in the Chief Ministers Secretariat Peshawar, taking an important step to combat drugs in the province.
According to the sources, Deputy Secretary Dr. Adil Ayub was nominated as the focal person of the Drug Control Room. In this regard, the Chief Ministers Secretariat issued a statement.
This control room will keep in close touch with the stakeholders regarding the administrations counter-narcotics initiatives, progress and other related issues.
On the other hand, the focal person of the control room will prepare a report on the important progress regarding drug control and submit it to the Chief Minister on a monthly basis.
It should be remembered that the Chief Minister issued instructions to establish a special control room, in addition to approving other important measures in the anti-narcotics meeting held last week.
