Army chief visits LoC, celebrates Eid with soldiers deployed on front lines
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir visited the Haji Pir sector of the Line of Control (LoC) and celebrated Eid-ul-Adha with the soldiers deployed on the front lines.
While saying that India is trying to spread false propaganda against Pakistan after the elections, false propaganda and false flag operations against Pakistan have become a routine political tool of India.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir visited Haji Pir sector of the Line of Control to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha with the soldiers, where he was received by Corps Commander Rawalpindi.
The Pakistan Army chief offered Eid prayers along with officers and men on the front lines and prayed for the safety and prosperity of the homeland.
General Asim Munir paid tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs.
Addressing the soldiers, the Army Chief appreciated the determination of the soldiers to defend the motherland.
The Chief of Army Staff said that as soldiers we feel proud to celebrate such festivals away from our homes and loved ones during duty to ensure the safety of our country and countrymen.
Talking about the freedom struggle of the Kashmiri people in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Army Chief General Asim Munir said that Pakistan fully supports the principled stand of Kashmiris as per the United Nations resolutions.
The Chief of the Pakistan Army condemned Indias ongoing brutality against Kashmiris and said that after the elections, India is trying to target its aggression and Kashmiri people with false propaganda and provocations against Pakistan, especially with the tactics of Uchhe.
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir said that Pakistan has always supported peace and stability in the region, but any provocation or violation of Pakistans territorial sovereignty will be met with immediate and decisive response with the full support of the nation.
