Duration of load shedding in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should not exceed 12 hours, Interior Department Instructed
The Provincial Home Department has written a letter to all the Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners of the province on the notice of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur about load shedding of electricity in the province.
In the letter from the provincial interior department, it was said that load shedding is happening for 22 hours in some places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, there are also protests against load shedding in some districts.
The text of the letter further said that all the Deputy Commissioners should monitor the load shedding hours, load shedding should not exceed 12 hours in any district, and in case of failure, power should be restored in minimum time.
