Torkham Border: Three persons arrested for making fake receipts of Pak-Afghan Friendship Hospital
At the Torkham border, FIA arrested three persons for forging receipts of Pak-Afghan Friendship Hospital.
On receiving information from FIA Torkham staff, FIA Torkham staff raided a shop located at Torkham base and arrested two persons where cases were being referred to by making fake invoices in name of Pak-Afghan Friendship Hospital.
FIA arrested 3 Afghans including local people.
During the raid and operation, various types of stamps and cards were also recovered from the accused.
Further investigation is going on with the accused.
The passengers revealed that they were charged Rs.20,000 for receipts.
It should be noted that patients from Afghanistan are brought to the Pak-Afghan Friendship Hospital in Torkham, where they are shifted to different hospitals in Pakistan after check-up by the doctor of the Pak-Afghan Friendship Hospital.
A companion is also allowed to accompany the patient and during this time the hospital staff gives them a receipt through which they can then go to their home country without a visa.
