Peshawar, provision of Rs.10 crore for alternative drainage system
The work on the alternative system to clean the canals of Peshawar from sewage water has been resumed
after a delay of several months, now the provincial government has released Rs. Work will also be started
After the instructions of the Peshawar High Court, two years ago, work was started on an alternative system for drainage channels in the canals passing through Peshawar.
However, funds have also been provided by the federal government for this project of two and a half billion rupees, while the provincial government is also providing funds.
Under this project, alternative drains are being constructed for drainage in Peshawar, which will later be connected to the water treatment plant.
In view of the financial crisis faced by the provincial government, like many other projects, this project also had a disruption in the supply of funds and the work on it got slow.
Now the government has released all the allocated money, with which the arrears of the contractors will also be cleared and more work will also be started.
