Peshawar: Two women arrested for attempting to abduct a girl and take her to Afghanistan
Peshawar police have arrested two female members of an international kidnapping gang while rescuing a girl who was abducted from Quetta and taken to Afghanistan.
According to a spokesman of Peshawar Police, a special team of Capital City Police Peshawar, along with ladies police, foiled an attempt to transfer the kidnapped girl from Quetta to Afghanistan and rescued the girl safely.
The spokesman said that during the operation, two women belonging to the abductor group, who are residents of Afghanistan, were arrested.
A police spokesman said the women were trying to abduct the girl from Quetta, Tafalka Zoya, daughter of Taj Mohammad, and then shift her to Afghanistan via Peshawar.
Police said that recovered girl was in good health and after a preliminary medical examination, she was handed over to the parents who had reached Peshawar from Quetta to pick up the girl
