Pakistan protests at diplomatic level with Afghanistan
Pakistan has protested at diplomatic level with Afghanistan over September 6 terrorist attack in Chitral.
According to sources, Pakistan summoned the head of Afghan embassy to foreign office and sent a protest letter.
Sources say that head of Afghan embassy was given a protest letter on the Chitral incident.
It should be noted that on night of September 6, 2 army posts were attacked by terrorists on Pak-Afghan border in Kailash area of Chitral, in which 4 brave soldiers of Pakistan Army were martyred.
According to ISPR, security forces repulsed attack and inflicted heavy casualties on terrorists. In exchange of fire, 4 soldiers were martyred and 12 terrorists were killed while a large number of them were seriously injured.
In this regard, spokesperson of Foreign Office said that modern weapons have fallen into hands of terrorists in Afghanistan, which are being used to attack Pakistan.
