The federal government has decided to give 3 months relaxation in the sentences of prisoners on the occasion of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi.
In this regard, the federal cabinet has approved a special exemption of 3 months in the punishment of prisoners.
On the summary of the Ministry of Interior, approval has been taken from the Federal Cabinet through circulation, while under Article 45, the Ministry of Interior has also obtained approval from the President to reduce the punishments.
Prisoners aged 65 who have completed two-thirds of their sentences will have their sentences reduced by 3 months, female prisoners aged 60 who have completed two-thirds of their sentences will also have their sentences reduced, and those under 18 years will also have their sentences reduced by 3 months. There will be a shortage of months.
The reduction in sentence will not apply to prisoners involved in terrorism, crimes against the state and espionage.
The reduction in the punishment of prisoners will be applied to certain prisoners in prisons across the country. In this regard, the Ministry of Interior will send written orders to all provinces.
