Khyber Pakhtunkhwa completes preparations for national anti-polio campaign
All preparations have been completed for the national anti-polio campaign starting tomorrow in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
More than 7.478 million children across the province will be vaccinated against polio during the two-day five-day anti-polio campaign.
According to the Emergency Operation Center Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 6,362,895 children under five years of age will be vaccinated in Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Malakand and Hazara divisions in the first phase of the anti-polio campaign starting tomorrow.
In the second phase of the campaign from October 9 to 13, all children up to five years of age in Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan divisions will be vaccinated against polio. A target of 1,116,081 has been set in Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan divisions.
