In South Waziristan, Pakistan Army will make 44 thousand hectares of barren land cultivable
Under the supervision of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), Pakistan Army launched a major project to make barren lands cultivable in South Waziristan.
A pilot project has been started in Zarmalan district of South Waziristan under the supervision of SIFC.
Initially 1000 acres of barren land will be made cultivable and after that 44 thousand acres of land will be made cultivable by this project.
Experts say that this project will not only improve the economy of local farmers but also control malnutrition.
