Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 3911 Afghan refugees were found involved in crimes this year
3 thousand 911 Afghan refugees have been found involved in crimes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa this year. 597 Afghan refugees were arrested while trying to make Pakistani identity cards.
According to the Afghan Commissionerate, after the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, the number of Afghan refugees increased and 775,000 Afghan refugees entered Pakistan illegally. 51 percent of illegal Afghans reside in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Commissioner Afghan Commissionerate Abbas Khan, 1.3 lakhs across the country and 6.48 thousand 968 Afghan refugees have POR cards in the province.
Across the country, 840,000 Afghan refugees have an Afghan citizen card, while in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 370,000 Afghan refugees have an Afghan citizen card.
According to the documents, 105 mosques in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have Afghan refugees as imams
